Love to Listen
Tandy and Sam have known each other for over 20 years. Over those years they have worked together many times on various children’s holiday clubs and camps. Realising how their gifts complemented one another Tandy asked Sam to work with her to produce their first children’s teaching material:
‘Encountering God with your Senses’.
The name Tandy means 'to love', the name Samantha means 'listener', that’s how ‘Love to Listen’ was born. We not only love to listen to Father God, but we have a passion to bring children to Jesus, so they can love to listen to Him as well.
We both have a vision to see children encounter God’s love. We fully believe children, whatever their age can encounter the Holy Spirit’s touch and know Father God’s love for them. We have been so excited to see and hear children meet with God and have pictures, feelings, words and more as they encounter God.
We hope Love to Listen materials will help and encourage you, as children’s workers, parents or children to draw closer to our Father God.
Tandy is not only talented at children’s ministry, she is gifted with it, this is plainly seen by the way that children are drawn to her. Tandy has a patient and calm attitude to children of all ages and her lessons are always filled with fun and learning; you can see that each child has met with Jesus when they leave her classes.
I have known Tandy for over ten years and seen her not only within ministry settings but also mothering her four children, she is a woman of wisdom on all things appertaining to children and a great sounding board for me! She has a strong personal connection to God and from that place she is able to lead those around her into a deeper understanding of the Godhead, her work with Bethel Sozo has added to her understanding of how to release people into freedom and understanding of who they are in Christ ad this is clearly reflected in this amazing manual.

Trained in child care Sam has for the last 15 years been working with children in a church setting. Sam is a visionary leader when it come to the early years and is passionate to see children encounter God and experience the Holy Spirit from an early age. One of her great strengths is her ability to inspire and challenge other pre-school leaders to go after everything God has for them and the children they oversee. She mixes being a full-time mum with leading the early years ministry at Kings Church Horsham along with writing and speaking. She has recently developed an innovative programme for crèche children set to music to help them encounter God for themselves.
